Hi all, its me Keeper again :)... I am having a bone right now. I have decided that I like my crate so much that I just go in all by myself all the time to rest and play and eat my bones. Sometimes I like to lay on the tile floor as its cool but others I like to go in my crate, well it is my bedroom after all :O). Its very big and roomy so I like it :O). How big you ask .. Well its 54 inches long and 45 inches tall and 36 inches wide LOL yes it takes up a lot of room LOL
My Mom took me to the Vet today so I could get checked out good. I told her I feel fine Mom honest. But she insisted we go.....I saw Dr Megan, she is a new Vet to me and to my Mom. She was very nice. She said I was going to be a very big boy when I get full grown given the size I am now at 9 months :O). Dr. Megan weighed me and I weight 80lbs, I am a bit thin for my size/frame because of my history. The rescue group did a great job getting 20 lbs on me already. She told my Mom to put a little chicken broth not much just a little on my food to entice me to eat better. I thought this was a great idea! I need to gain a few more pounds for my frame and size :O) since I am just a bit underweight still.
Dr. Megan said I am in good health! My hips look good and my heart is strong. I was so good at the Vet my Mom told me she was so proud of me. Everyone fussed over me and wanted to pet me. I got to ride in the vehicle and I really like riding in a vehicle. So that was fun :O). My Mom says she feels much better now that we have been to the Vet and got me looked over good. It wasn't that she didn't believe the Rescue people but we know the rescue groups are very tight on funds for vetting. So we just wanted to make double sure I was doing okay.
I have had the puppy zoomies since getting home. I scaled the sofa and the two living chairs again in my excitement... My Mom said Keeper we are going to have to work on that and started laughing. She said I can run in the house :O) but could I please not scale the furniture. tee hee... I will think about it :O).
Bye for now Keeper

I like that word Zoomies! I can just imagine and I am thinking he is definitely a Keeper!
Very fitting name, as he is definitely a keeper!!!!
oh, glad you got a good, clean bill of health! now you have a vet in case you ever get sick. :) i think your mommy loves you a lot!!!
Keeper is beautiful. I just love the 3 Great Pyrenees that stay with my goat herd when they're out grazing every day. When the goats are back home at night the dogs are "off duty" and join me at the house. They are so affectionate and I feel very safe with them around.
We are glad you are A-OK. Enjoy your bone
Keeper, you are too cute! I'm glad you are in good health. It will be fun putting on weight!
He is gorgeous, Sandy! What a handsome guy! I am so happy for him for getting a great home and you for getting a wonderful companion.
Keeper, you are amazing, your white fur is stunning. So happy you are doing well. I'm sure the chicken broth will encourage you to eat more.

I Love Keeper, such a great name and bound to be a great companion and guard. Love the Zoomies, our Airedale Terrier, Treacle, does those usually with her tail and bottom tucked under and ears flying! Usually through our garden especially when I have planted new plants. Susie x
