Having farm animals, pets or predators is one of the best things and the worst things.

I recently saw this sign on pinterest. It struck a cord with me, I wrote what is below it.

It strikes a cord with me too. Thanks for sharing.
((hugs)) to Keeper.
a big sigh...
It's like a partnership for life, with people generally outliving the pets.
This is the same way I feel! Even my chickens are my little "family"... :)
That's why I love you, Tex. We're soul sisters.
Did you have to put someone down?
It's hard. I know
Texan,
A great sign, thank you for sharing it. Is everything okay?
That sign says it exactly. I'm headed to the vet myself later today.
We were just having a conversation about animals at the gym yesterday and how much any animal whether wild or domestic fulfill our lives!...:)JP
I understand totally. Seeing movies with humans suffering doesn't trouble me nearly as much as if it's animals...but I feel awful saying that!
For me these feelings have become stronger with age.
I forgot, I found a girl friend for Keeper, I gave a blogger friend of mine your blog address. She's younger than he is and I think her name is Bella. She's adorable too and can be found here: http://tombstonetiddings.blogspot.com
They are perfect for a virtual romance like the one Samson has with Gracie in Maryland. No more matchmaking for me, I've never done it before. But they are so made for each other.
