Keeper the running dog. Well LOL not really. I have been running up and down our driveway which is 1/2 mile so Keeper can go too. He loves it. He doesn't run allllll the time I do but he runs as much as he wants. I am only putting in a few miles myself right now.... I know Great Pyrenees are not "running" partner dogs and I would never expect him to be one. But he does love to go with me and run when he wants, then he can stop and investigate/rest as he wants or needs to. I took this picture of him when we first got back. He is a character for sure... Once again he looks like he has just busted out laughing over something doesn't he LOL... He is actually panting as he worked hard :O).
I am still nursing a crappy shoulder which I was told as of yesterday is frozen shoulder, yes remember I had that what has it been two years ago? Anyway its in my other shoulder now. Nope no reason why, just like last time. Which is a bit baffling. I had been getting it treated the Dr thought it was bursitis but I am loosing range of motion in it now :o(. Darn good thing I have been treating it already or I would probably be where I was last time with a arm that didn't move, so that is sure a positive in this situation. Plus I know what to do and what to expect this time as well. All I can do is do my therapy like last time and I will be going in for other treatments just like last time.
I started going to yoga class 3 weeks ago. Its been good for my arm I think, though I can't fully do some stuff as my arm won't move in some of those directions or if it hurts to much, but its still good for my arm to try! Its amazing how much I can do though! I really am enjoying it a lot. Its nice to have a place to take Yoga, its only 20 minutes from me. You have to remember we live out in the country so 20 minutes is great!
My garden is done. I am now finishing up the last of the dehydrating and canning. I have started some seeds inside for a fall garden. Its to early now to plant anything in the garden. Whew it hot. But in another month I can start putting some seeds in the garden.
I will take the next month to get in touch with the house and hopefully do some sewing!

Heck Texan....so sorry about your shoulder...boo! I like doing yoga too, I put it in my exercise program at least once a week! Be well to you! Hugs!
Sorry to hear about your shoulder..that hurts! Been there, had that! Not fun! And it eventually goes away just like it came on. go figure...
I love hearing stories about Keeper. He's such a good boy.
I am so sorry about your shoulder. Pain just gets in the way of everything...I hope it rights itself soon.
sorry about the frozen shoulder! you're so dang active, that must be so frustrating. i hope it continues to improve!
keeper is a good boy. i run up and down my 1/4 mi. driveway, too. the pups come with me for about half the way, then dodge off into the neighbor's pasture to go hassle her pups in the backyard. :)
My garden is not enjoying the Texas like heat here. I wish I could prepare for a fall garden, but we only get one shot each year. :-( Sorry to hear about the frozen shoulder. Hope it progresses well.
Last year I had bursitis in my left shoulder and this year I got it in my right. Still dealing with it. It can take up to a year to heal itself. Stretching sure does help with the range of motion even though it hurts to do it at first. Hope the therapy gets it the heck out of your shoulder ;). Doc told me if my shoulder didn't heal he would send me to a surgeon...I don't think so. Not going there!
Keeper is a big baby. Molly Gael loves to run, she was a year old March 17th, and she doesn't run as often. We work with her, making her understand she must stop. Patience and consistency.
Keeper is so handsome! I love him.
Do hope your shoulder improves quickly.
Sorry to hear about your shoulder. That stinks! What a handsome dog that Keeper is!
It is amazing the life you get back after the garden stops, lol!
So sorry your shoulder is acting up. Swimming was a huge help in my rehab after I broke my collar bone. It was easier to move my shoulder in the water than it was on land, and that really helped get the ROM back. We're country too, so it was a long drive, but worth it. Keep us posted - we care.
Hope your shoulder gets well soon!
Holy moosepoops! A frozen shoulder?! I'm sure you'll do your exercises like a good girl after you get back from running!! Maybe that's why the dog is smiling...he's snickering...thinking foolish girl...:)JP
Sorry about your shoulder, dear... I know how frustrating it is! I've had a carpal tunnel flare-up in both wrists this week... *UGH* NO FUN!!
Hang in there!
That's so odd about your shoulder. Do you think something you do in the garden aggravates it? I hope it heals quickly.
Oh, I sure hope your shoulder heals soon. Hopefully your yoga sessions will help. I've always found yoga to be wonderful for loosening up my whole body.
Morning! I just think Keeper looks to be the sweetest dog around! What a gentle looking creature.
Good that you are doing Yoga....remember not to 'push' some of those positions until the shoulder gets more mobile. I do Yoga a few times a week....my body responds very well to it.
Garden is done!? Oh yes, you southerners are so fortunate to have 'year-round' gardening.
Hope the shoulder feels better soon and thanks for dropping by today.
Dang sorry about the Frozen Shoulder. I'd never heard of that. Gonna have to go look up.
Get better soon.
